Early Childhood Educator in Caledon, Ontario

During my 7 years as the Children’s Caravan Coordinator at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, as a Family and Child Consultant, I had the opportunity to utilize my communication, self-management, organizational, time management and problem solving skills in various situations. I supervised volunteers and students as they learned and participated in the service. I developed and maintained positive partnerships with other agencies, resulting in a successful service provided for numerous families. In the role of Resource Consultant, I have written reports of professional quality for the purpose of sharing information with community agencies and school boards, demonstrated a sensitivity and experience when working with parents with complex issues; focusing on family centred practice. I have been successful at working in partnerships with parents, colleagues and appropriate referral agencies.
