Emily has been an extraordinary addition to my classroom, bringing in a warm disposition, boundless positivity, and innovative ideas to explore. She is a self-starter, taking initiative independently and learns very quickly. The children naturally respond well to her friendly ways and it evident how much compassion she has for everyone at the centre, inclusive of staff, volunteers, and adult classroom assistants with special needs. Emily fully embraces the importance of following through a strengths-based approach when working with children with special needs, displaying a strong understanding of developmental levels of each individual child. I would recommend Emily for any position or education program involving children, both typically developing or with special needs.

Emily has worked at our school for more than two years as our after care teacher and regular supply staff. She ran the after care program with care, thought and dedication and was one of our most effective and reliable supply staff. She was first on our list of supply staff to call. I highly recommend Emily and strongly believe that her dedication, passion and professionalism will be exhibited in any position she holds working with children. If Emily weren't moving out of Toronto I would offer her a permanent position at our school - no question!
