Early Childhood Educator in Markham, Ontario

I have experience with coaching young children of ages 2.5 to 7 years soccer. We would do a group warm up and break into smaller groups for drills throughout the practice. It was a great privilege to coach young children because that job really tested my patience and made me a better person because I coaching little children soccer is not an easy thing as every child learns new things different ways and learn at their own pace. On the soccer team that I coached for 3 years, there was a 9 year old boy who had Down Syndrome and it was my job to work closely with him 1 on 1 on the days that he would not get along with the other team members. I would play soccer with him 1 on 1 and made sure he had fun while also practicing his soccer skills. It was not easy as he would sometimes bother the other children, however, wit a few constant reminders, he learned to cooperate with his team players.
