Early Childhood Educator in Edmonton, Alberta

I have had the opportunity to work with children in many different environments, enriching my understanding and patience for all ages. I love to be around kids, am positively impressionable, and feel that I am contributing to the community when I get to work with children. I have worked one on one with two individuals with special needs through Alberta Association for Community Living; a 14 year old girl with Rett's Syndrome, and a young boy with Autism. In addition, I worked with a variety of children with special needs while at the YMCA as a councillor. I gained an appreciation for children with many learnind disabilities, impaired hearing and locomotion, as well as speak impedements.
