My name is Shayla-Rose Somers; I am a responsible, caring, trustworthy, and dedicated worker, looking to continue on in a position of childcare with the goal of becoming an Elementary School Teacher! I love kids, and I want to continue working in childcare because I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow with a strong, dependable, loving foundation. I believe it is incredibly important to help children grow in a way that will allow them to love themselves unconditionally, care for those around them, and believe in themselves, regardless of the difficulties or circumstances they may face as an individual. I am currently certified in Standard First Aid and CPR/AED, as well as Child Care First Aid and CPR/AED, I am happy to acquire a police check (with vulnerable sector search if preferred), and I am willing to do any training necessary to ensure I am the right fit for whatever position comes my way. I strongly believe that I would be a great team member and an excellent childcare provider, regardless of the challenges presented. I will do whatever is necessary to give every child an equal opportunity and a positive environment to grow in.
