Early Childhood Educator in Los Angeles, California

I have been learning about and working with children and families for the past 10 years. I have a background in Education (from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon), Child Development (from the University of Oxford, UK), and Psychology (from the University of Melbourne, Australia). I work with parents on helping them develop skills in forming deeper emotional connections with their children through emotion coaching. Emotional wellbeing, both children's and parents', is a goal we target. This process is parent of an evidence-based parenting program created in Melbourne, Australia, and has been applied in several other countries such as Norway, Iran... I also worked as a homeroom teacher in the International Baccalaureate (IB-PYP) program that focuses on inquiry based learning where we focus on giving the child the power in their own education.
