Devoted to continuing children’s growth of knowledge and understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them. As an educator, I am recognized for developing and implementing creative experiences that improve children’s learning and behavioural skills, as well as confidence and self-reliance. My goal as an educator is to learn with the children as a co-participant and co-researcher, as we braid our ideas and theories together while also challenging and questioning each other’s curiosities and opinions. I am determined to learn more about environmental education and excited to join an organization that shares my commitment to supporting children in an outdoor curriculum. I have supported and created inclusive spaces and practices for all children, including children with diverse abilities and needs. As well as honoured and respected each child’s histories, cultures, contexts, capabilities, and potential.
