Early Childhood Educator in Durham, Ontario

I am an early childhood educator by profession with special emphasis on the domains of children. I have over seven (7) years experiences working with children and currently work as a social service administrator focussing on children, families, and the communities at large. I have taken great interest in developing and implementing learning activities to reach children who might have challenges based on their cognitive development. My experiences over the years have enabled me to gather various knowledge and techniques as a means of assisting children and families from various social and economic backgrounds by implementing different learning styles to meet their needs. I am certified as a level 3 Supervisor from Bow Valley College in Alberta Canada, where I studied Early Learning and Child Care, and the holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. I believe that the family plays an important part in the development of children and encouraging inclusiveness of family in the planning of activities for their children is important; these include but not limited to Parent Teachers Association (PTA) meetings and recreation activities. I believe that children should be given an opportunity to grow and the space that they are entertained in should be culturally rich with various learning ingredient and tools to suit their needs. My goal is to make an impact on the lives of young children, assess their developmental stage and create activities that are better equipped to foster their needs. In addition, each child should be respected and their voice is important hence practising the various listening and observation skills through language, art and sound is important for their growth. Given the opportunity to serve and impact young lives would be an asset to my quest for growth and development for the young lives that I am entrusted in. I am an hardworking individual, honest and can be relied upon. In addition, i am very confidential and has a great sense of humour and believe in living life to the best of my ability. My character base is of unquestionable character and can be highly recommended. With these in mind i am confident that given the job of an early childhood educator i would be an asset to the organization which i serve.
