Early Childhood Educator in Oceanside, California

I’m projected to graduate this upcoming December with my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts Social and Behavioral Sciences along with my Child Development Assistant Teacher Certificate of Proficiency. I plan to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education to further my experience with children. Personally, I have loved working with children of all ages since I was a child myself. I used to make lesson plans during the summer and make a day of teaching my younger brother. In the past year, I have taught swim lesson to children ranging from three months old to fifteen years old. In my time teaching, I learned the most amazing things about children are their ability to overcome fear and their hunger for learning. I always loved helping children conquer their fears by relating the brave jump they were about to take to their favorite superhero or princess. Children need teachers who are more than willing to adapt to their individual learning style and help them conquer their fears. I hope to be this kind of teacher for them, helping them to find a love for learning as I have.
