Early Childhood Educator in Pointe-Claire, Quebec

Hello, my name is Jade. I have my DEC in early childhood education from Vanier College. I graduated in June 2020. I have many years of experience working with children since the age of 13 as a babysitter and working at my stages, and replacement/full-time position jobs at private centres, semi-subsidized, and CPE’s. I am constantly learning and adapting to new techniques of how to handle challenging situations, be present in supporting each individual child and whole group development needs. The most important aspect of this job for myself, would be that the children feel safe, secure and respected while feeling supported and comfortable while in process of their developmental growth. I do have my safety and first aid certificate, as well as my police check readily available. I am very passionate about the early childhood career, ever since I was very young till the present day. A passion of mine is singing when I have the chance and using it to keep the children entertained, engaged and teach them important skills. I enjoy being around people, as I am an amical person. I find it important to build strong affective relationships with the children, fellow educators and families to help work in a positive mindset with one another.
