Early Childhood Educator in Pointe-Claire, Quebec

Hello, my name is Jade and I am a 20 year old student. I am currently in my final year of studies at Vanier College to receive my DEC in early childhood education. I do have many years of experience working with children, from babysitting since the age of 13, babysitting family members from a young age, working at a daycamp, working in 2 daycares, completing 2 stages and on my third presently. While being still in school, I am constantly learning new techniques of how to handle challenging situations, be there in a supportive and respectful manner for the children, and learning how to plan a daily schedule around the whole child and help them grow more and more everyday in a fun and creative way. The most important aspect for me is that the children feel safe, secure and respected while feeling supported and comfortable in their developmental growth. I do have my safety and first aid certificate, as well as my police check readily available. I am very passionate about my career of being an early childhood educator since I was very young till the present day. A passion of mine is singing when I have the chance and using it to keep the children entertained, engaged and teach them important skills. I enjoy being around people since I am an amical person. I find it best to build affective relationships with the families and the fellow educators I work alongside for the benefit of the children.
