Early Childhood Educator in Brampton, Ontario

I have 10 years of experience as a supervisor at a large childcare centre. I was responsible for the day to day operations of the centre as well as ensuring compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act. I support staff in their classrooms and provide them with opportunities to develop professionally. At the centre I work closely with the children and their families to ensure that they are receiving a high quality childcare experience. I work with the families to ensure that the needs of the child are understood by the staff so that their child can learn and grow with our centre. I am responsible for providing tours to prospective new families that are interested in care, payroll, ensuring all children and staff information is up to date. I regularly attend the Brampton Supervisors Networking meetings and complete the Raising the Bar Profile for the centre in collaboration with the staff at the centre. I have a great deal of experience and would love the opportunity to gain more child care experience at a centre.
