Early Childhood Educator in Scarborough, Ontario

I am currently employed in a Child Care Centre as a RECE and work a split - shift in the School Age Program. I also have several years working experience in a Pre - school setting. Working at my current job is satisfactory, but am seeking a position that will offer me full - time hours and an opportunity to expand my career within the Centre or within the organization. In our program, pedagogy is based on the ELECT Learning and A Place to Connect where along with the team I plan daily and weekly activities based on the children's interest. In addition to being a RECE I am also a trained Resource Teacher (Respite Services) and an Instructional Therapist in ABA / IBI. As a RECE I have also mentored and evaluated co-op and placement students in the program. In Respite and IBI Services I have conducted one-to-one therapy in clinical and home setting, charted and graphed data re children's Functional Assessment and participate in review and planning meetings for children's IEP / IPP.
