Early Childhood Educator in Arctic Bay, Nunavut

My name is Anuoluwapo, a graduate of Linguistics. I went to university of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria and finished in the year 2015. Over time, I obtained other certifications including a customer service certificate from Sesewa Academy in conjunction with U.S Consulate. I also obtained a Project Management Certificate and had my teachers’ training certification in Bridge International Academy. I was the class teacher as well as the organizer for extra-curricular activities. I acquired my project management certificate in 2016 and both my customer certificate and my teacher training certificate and a Certificate of Appreciation in 2018. I also earned certifications as a practitioner of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (2021) and Early Childhood Consultation in 2021 and attended an NHS healthcare support worker program offered by Keep Britain Working in April 2022. I have my IELTS result too. I taught in Bridge International Academy for two years before working as an SAT Verbal Instructor in an educational firm. Presently, I work as the Relationship Manager of an educational firm where I teach Linguistics and function as a childhood and educational consultant to parents. My decision to become a child carer came from a desire in me which came to light since my teenage years. I have always felt at home around children. I have always been willing to help children grow in a loving, caring environment. This passion for young ones has been eminent from my younger days, when I decided to start giving Sunday school lessons as well as attending to the toddlers and teens' needs in the children’s department of my church while I was still in my junior years in high school. Not only my love for children but also my love for being a carer became evident. I believe that my desire to become a wonderful live in carer is only natural. I have always been the type to push myself out of my comfort zone and I have always loved experiencing the lifestyle in different places. I decided to become a child carer abroad because I felt it would be a whole different experience for me. I would be able to use the experiences I acquire too to learn and continously better my services. I firmly believe that I would provide personal care, and be resourceful. Looking back on my tutoring and volunteering experience, I realize that I possess many of the natural qualities needed to be a Child Carer: patience and compassion for everyone I have worked with, particularly in times when they struggle. I enjoy listening to many different opinions, interpretations, and thoughts and I'm naturally engaging with children's work. I love great writings and the lively discussions it can inspire. I have enrolled for a diploma in health and social care and a CPR and First Aid course so as gain proper knowledge in giving medical attention to children as well as knowing the steps required in performing CPR in an emergency. I believe becoming an Early Childhood Consultant or Carer is the best way to fufill my passion for caring for children and becoming the type of Carer that is loved and revered- throughout my stay- for quality delivery.
