Early Childhood Educator in Burnaby, British Columbia

My name is Jen and I am a 37 year old single mom of 2 school age childen. I have had a passion to care and mentor children since I was a child and started volunteering in various settings in my early teens. I have been working in the Childcare field for over 20 years and have had a license to practice since 2006, in which I got my Early Childhood Education License and in 2007 I graduated with honors from the Infant and Toddler program. I have worked in many different areas of childcare and with all different ages. I believe I learn more each role I take on and Love any challenges each job brings me. My passion for children has definately grown over the years as I grow with each child that I meet. I Love working with not only the children but believe a relationship with the familes is just as important. I am a very fun and outgoing person who is always on the move with energy...perfect for children. However I am also a nurturer and love cuddles and easily build trust and bonds quickly and naturally. I am a leader type person, however I believe that I should be one within my team as we all work together and learn from eachother. I Love value everyones thoughts, opinions, activities and so on.
