Early Childhood Educator in Atlanta, Georgia

I'm an
Individual
Focused and dedicated early childhood school educator with 16 years of experience. Passionate about teaching children of pre-primary school by using various activities and organizational tools. Being knowledgeable of developing lesson plans alongside other talented teachers and supporting administration. Eagerly provides instructional direction, professional development feedback, and real-time direction in classroom. Expert in developing lesson plans, creating class material and assigning classwork. Diplomatic communicator when addressing parents and children regarding disciplinary actions. Also, I take it more as my passion than considering it merely a job! Its important to understand that as early childhood teacher it is extremely important, I don’t only have to work on the sounds but on the 5 domains of child too that is social, physical, moral, cognitive and emotional. Also as we know the starting years are the base of the child’s development, so as a teacher I make different kinds of hands-on activities to improve their fine motor skills in order to get them ease when they start writing in higher grades. Also knowing how much important is to know fluent English, as a teacher I work on it since the start in order to get the child communicate easily. However, teacher also pay important to other aspects except for studies which are very basic for example hygiene, nutrition and personal grooming which are not only explained to young kids but also to the parents so that always keep a check in balance. As a teacher we also have to make child aware of his hidden talents at times. So overall it is not a teaching job but a job where you have to keep maintaining over all behavior and development of the child with the curriculum. While I try to give my 100% to each child, I expect growth and development in my job, I don’t mind having challenges as I said above. Also that I expect that I am given respect irrespective of anything. Also that my employer supports and motivates me in the initial time so that I can easily adjust to the new environment of my job and am able to give my best!
