My First Montessori School is a brand-new school that opened in September 2018. We are seeking experienced and new graduate Montessori certified teachers for a full-time position. Qualifications: o A diploma from a MACTE or AMI accredited training centre or RECE designation o A current criminal reference check o Certification in Standard First Aid, including Infant & Child CPR Level C o Updated immunization record Skills Required: o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills o Ability to work effectively as a team member o Excellent written skills o Possesses strong leadership and organizational skills Job Responsibilities: o To plan and implement a Montessori program for children within a warm and nurturing learning environment o To supervise the children at all times, ensuring a safe environment o To maintain a positive and consistent approach towards child management that is compatible with the philosophy of Ministry of Education o To communicate with parents on a daily basis in an open and supportive manner o To assist, supervise and guide students, supply staff and volunteers o To demonstrate sound knowledge of all relevant sections of the Child Care & Early Years Act o To maintain professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times
