I worked in childcare centers for 2 years while I was in school. Then for a year I worked as a nanny and babysitter in private homes and I found it to be a very rewarding experience. With my 4 years of experience I have learned to be self-motivate, always stay engaged and i have become more aware of my surroundings. My main priority is the safety and wellbeing of the children. I am a very easy going person which helps me stay calm in stressful situations. Specifically, I am highly skilled in providing basic care for infants such as changing diapers, preparing meals, and feeding and comforting them. I am able to maintain the play area, plan and apply sports and craft activities and serve snacks. Furthermore, I also have exceptional interpersonal skills that provide me with a great ability to communicate effectively with children and adults from various backgrounds. I have a first aid certificate, driver’s license and abstract and police background check. I also have a level 2 certification.
