Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I have had a lot of experience working with kids of different ages and backgrounds. Having previously navigated these differences smoothly, it allowed the kids' minds (that I've worked with) to be charged creatively and progressively, with proven benefits on an everyday basis. This is what I'll aim to bring to the child care environment. I have also had, though brief, one on one work experience with special needs students and have allowed them to grow at their own pace without making them feel different from any other student in the program. The differences that I highlight at the beginning, when it comes to age, cultural backgrounds, opinions, etc., is important to encourage as something positive in kid's minds. By allowing differences to be acknowledged at a young age, the student grows up with less prejudice and judgement for others in the space they occupy; the world isn't black and white, therefore we must make our own discoveries and find our own truths. Also hope with the work that I take on is that it can aid me with studies that I'll pursue in the near future, in the field of children's development and children's literature! Whether it's helping build character for the student or introducing a new study scheme, I hope I can learn a lot in the work place.
