Early Childhood Educator in Hamilton, Ontario

I have had the privilege to work with children acting as a Nanny, an Early Childhood Educator, a Primary School Teacher and as an Educator of People with Special Needs for the past fifteen years. As well I offered care to infants and toddlers in my home for a one-year period. I believe that activities and experiences should be centered around and guided by the child and that each child should be nurtured, guided and supported as a unique individual with unique gifts, abilities and needs. I have worked as an Educator of Children with Special Needs in a school environment. I worked predominantly with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)and Intensive Behaviour Intervention strategies (IBI). As well I worked with individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Downs Syndrome.
