Early Childhood Educator in Burlington, Ontario

I have been working consistently with children since 2006 when I first became a lifeguard and started teaching swimming lessons to children aged 6 mo. to 14 y/o. While in university, I worked at a student run after school program for children aged 5-10 where we were responsible for picking the kids up from school and planning and running different activities for them (swimming lessons, sports, art and crafts etc.). I also have two summers experience working as a camp counsellor for a camp focused on staying active where we were responsible for planning the day to day activities for 8 weeks in the summer with different themes each week. I also have a year of experience working in early childhood education as a teacher in a preschool aged classroom. I was responsible for planning and executing a curriculum while collaborating with my room partner in a day to day basis.
