As a soon-to-be graduate in the field of Early Childhood Education Diploma at Sheridan College, I am excited about any opportunity to put my knowledge and the skills I have developed from my studies, field placement and working experience in a childcare centre. The qualifications I bring to your company include: • 1 year of experience as an Early Childhood Assistant in the childcare field; • Currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Diploma Program at Sheridan College, graduating April 2020; • Widely experienced with different ages from infants to school-age children gained through 3 field placements; • Demonstrate skills working as a team member or individually; strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents and colleagues; • Strongly understand “How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy” and “Early Learning for Every Child Today: A framework for Ontario early childhood settings”; • Clean Criminal Check & Vulnerable Sector screening, Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certificate, up-to-date Immunization and Health assessment.
