Early Childhood Educator in Barrie, Ontario

I am an outgoing, personable employee that is committed to providing a safe place for kids of all ages and backgrounds to learn at their own pace. I have experience in various areas with children ages 0-12. I have worked as a lifeguard/swim instructor where I gained my excitement for kids and engaging them with fun songs or interactive activities in order to help them achieve their best. i then went on to become a councellor, assistant director, and administrative assistant for camps during the summer. After I finished 4 years obtaining my Bachelor of Theology, I became a Children's Pastor/Director in 2 separate churches in the Durham Region. There I learned to create lesson plans and adapt curriculum to better work with the kids that we served. I also had great experiences learning to work with parents and schedule/ direct over 100 volunteers in each classroom. I have great aspirations to return to obtain my ECE in a few years to better equip me to work with children in their individual developmental stages.
