Early Childhood Educator Job in Kent, Ohio

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma AVAILABILITY: MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY from 3:00-6:00 PM during the Kent City School's school year (8/16/17...) with summer employment available, but not required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Working with Kindergarten-6th graders in before and after school programs located in the Kent City Schools and the City of Kent Recreation Center. Professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task a must. Completing lesson plans, managing a group of up to 18 students on your own, marketing the program, completing training in child development, interacting with parents and school faculty, adapting to the behavioral and educational needs of children, applying conflict management within children, etc. RATE OF PAY: $9.00-$9.25/hr sick time Experience in childcare, recreation, tutoring and/or teaching a plus.
