Early Childhood Educator in Etobicoke, Ontario

I am a registered early childhood educator with 2years experience working with infants. My experiences as an Early Childhood Educator has given me the opportunity to plan, execute and assess age-appropriate learning suitable for children from birth to six years of age to facilitate the development of a whole child. My involvement with children with adapting needs has allowed me to create successful learning opportunities which promote child development in all the different areas such as of physical, cognitive, emotional and social skills. I constantly maintain a healthy and safe environment for children under my supervision according to the organization's safety policies and I am mindful of the relevant legislations. The experiences I have gained working with children in various settings such as in The City Child Care centre, public schools and as an administrative secretary has allowed me to become accustomed to members of various cultural background and the ability to communicate in a polite and sensitive manner with students, parents, staff and the general public. I am capable of communicating fluently in English and French. I also have good written skills both in English and French. I can easily communicate with children, staff, parents and other members in a positive and respectful manner. I can confidently work both independently and in collaboration with others as part of a team. I am also very familiar with the guiding documents such as the Early Years Act, How Does Learning Happen, The ELECT Document and also The Full Day Kindergarten program.
