Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I went to George Brown College for my ECE Diploma in 2010 to 2011.I did four placements at different childcare centres (Infants, preschoolers and kindergarten). Before this I babysat and worked at two summer camps. The children at Trinity Bellwoods Art in the Park and Camp Arowon were 5-12 years. I have worked in a group with autistic children and children with ADD. In my George Brown placements, there was a range of children\'s level of development socially and physically..... experience with children wit special needs was not one on one. I learned how to assist with hand over hand teaching for learning to print. I leanred how to communicate with autistic children to get them to listen.
