Early Childhood Educator in Calgary, Alberta

I have several years experience with children in inclusive program settings. As well as aide work with special needs. I implemented and supervised an inclusive program for kindergarten aged children for 3 years at an out of school care program. Also worked as a summer camp supervisor for multiple summers. I had volunteered with Scouts Canada as a leader for pre-teens offering outdoor activities and survival training for youth. I have worked with many various special needs including hard of hearing, ADD/ADHD, Downs Syndrome, and various levels of autism. I had been a private aide for a boy with severe autism. I know some basic sign language, assisting in better communication with non-verbal children.
