Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

I have been working for 2 years for a daycare at Yonge x Eglinton, usually with children\\\'s age between 1 and 3 years old. Ocasionally, iI replace someone at a pre-school or baby room. One of my main daily responsibilities is closely supervising a special needs student throughout her day. I make it a point to include her in any activities she is able to participate in with other kids, however, due to her nature, I sometimes have to provide different activities specially catered to her needs. This experience has allowed me to better understand the effects of disability and how to make adjustments to the planned curriculum in order to provide a comfortable environment for those in need.
