Early Childhood Educator in Markham, Ontario

Working with children has always been my passion. I have been in a teaching profession for many years as I started teaching students of ages 3-8. In Canada, i have been through a different but enhanced experience of child learning and in view of my gentle personality, I love being with children. I worked with few Montessori schools and it was an excellent opportunity for me to apply recently learned Montessori teaching techniques and getting practical experience. I also baby sit few kids of ages 2.5-4 at my home and that is again a wonderful experience and helpful in enhancing child care skills. Throughout my teaching career I have learnt that every child is different but naturally they needs love, respect and independence and being a teacher/guide it is very important to take care of their feelings and understand them with patience and care. In my personal experience of interacting with children in a Montessori environment has been interesting in view of different stages of child growth and their behavior at any particular age. Children behaviors and responses are not the same at all time and that is why various methods of teaching is recommended that includes play, games, independence, group activities in order to keep them engage in different modes that helps them learning with interest.
