Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Ontario

Children bring me joy. I have cared for my younger family members ever since I was 8. It sparked an interest that would be life long. I started working at an Academy when I was 18. I tutored and counselled children there.I worked with children as young as 3 to as old as 16 years. I then decided that after finishing my Bachelor of Science I would go into Early Childhood Education. I volunteered as an assistant teacher at a public school in a kindergarten classroom and a grades 1/2 classroom. Now I am currently an Assistant Teacher at Fenside Children's Centre. I work with preschoolers, toddlers and school agers. I am currently enrolled in the Early Childhood program at Seneca College, I have volunteered at an Autism Awareness Centre. I have executed programming on an individual basis with young children that was provided to me by an ABA therapist. I currently work with children with special needs in the preschool room and I really do enjoy it. I have acquired an interest in the field.
